Shipping Policy

Shipping hours

Some of our products are print on demand and are printed and shipped by a 3rd party and are subject to their timeframes.

For all fabricated art, except for holidays, your order will be shipped within 24 hours. So if you order on a Friday at 1:00 p.m. ET, your order will likely not be shipped until Monday.

Order errors

We usually process orders quickly, so if you find that you’ve made a mistake with your order, you need to alert us right away (within 15 minutes). Otherwise, the order may have already been processed and shipped out.

Fulfillment of orders

For print on demand order, we use a third-party fulfillment center to pack and ship your order so we don’t have to touch any cardboard boxes or tape. Unfortunately, for those items we are unable to provide gift wrapping or special packaging requests.

Shipping fees

You will be charged shipping for your order. Shipping costs are based on the weight of your package. If you are buying ceramic or sculpture, it may be heavy, so your shipping costs might be astonishingly high. We do not offer free shipping. But we provide many options to help you find the most cost-effective shipping method for your needs.

Address errors

If you provide an incorrect address and your package is returned to us, we can reship your item, but you will need to pay for the reshipment. You can also choose to have your order refunded, but we will only refund the cost of the product, not the shipping. If your package is re-routed during shipping due to an incorrect address and the shipper applies a fee, you may be responsible for this extra cost.

Damaged during shipping

Our boxes are engineered to ship our products safely, but occasionally damage can occur. If your item was damaged during shipping, please take a photo of the damaged item and email it to [email protected] For print-on-demand items, we will arrange a replacement at no cost to you. Do not send the package back. For one-of-a-kind items, we will enquire with the artist about a replacement but cannot guarantee it. If no replacement is possible, we will refund the money to you.

Tracking information

When your package ships, a shipping confirmation with a tracking number will be emailed to you. If you don’t receive this by the end of the following day, check your Spam or Promotions folder for our emails. If you still can’t find your tracking number and want to keep tabs on your package, email [email protected]

Monitor the tracking status of your package. If it appears to be stalled, contact the shipper (FedEx or USPS). Plum Nelly Dry Goods has no further information than what you have available through the tracking link. If the shipper recommends that you file a claim for a lost package, contact [email protected] for a resolution.

“Delivered but not received” mystery
If your tracking information says your package was delivered, but you haven’t received it, something strange is going on. Ask around your neighborhood to see if it was delivered to someone else by accident. Or check with your apartment complex office. Or check with your housemate. It is rare that a package was stolen; experience shows that more likely it was delivered inaccurately. Almost always, a well-meaning neighbor accepted delivery of your package, and hasn’t returned it to you yet.

Also, try to contact the shipper (FedEx or USPS). If you call them soon enough after you’ve noticed the issue, they can sometimes help you to track it down.

But please realize that Plum Nelly Dry Goods is not delivering your packages ourselves, and we have no special relationships with FedEx or USPS, so when your package goes missing, it is most efficient for you to exhaust your options before contacting us. If, after you’ve sleuthed to try and track it down, you cannot locate your package, contact [email protected] and explain your issue. But we are not responsible for tracking down your order for you.

 

Return Policy

Returns

If you are not happy with your order and want to return it, email [email protected] Don’t send anything back until we provide you with instructions.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all original marketing materials.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since you received your purchase, unfortunately it’s too late to offer you a refund or exchange.

Exchanges

We treat exchanges like returns (see above). Once we receive the item you wish to return, we will issue a refund. But you are free to order the new item at any time. Our policy lasts for 30 days.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit for the cost of the product returned will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a reasonable amount of days. Your credit card company controls how long the process takes. Please note, we do not refund shipping costs.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Gift cards

Digital and physical gift cards are non-refundable.

Replacements

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged during shipping, within 90 days from when you received your order. Email [email protected] with a photo of the damage or defect.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement product to reach you may vary. Be patient.

Shipping of your return

To return your product, you should contact [email protected], and an RMA number will be issued to you. Instructions on where to ship your return will be provided.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Our store is hosted on WordPress and uses WooCommerce to process orders. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
